What is Neural Therapy?

Research shows that many causes of chronic health issues are due to autonomic dysregulation, an overactive stress state in the brain and body. This is where Neural Therapy can affect change.

What are the Benefits of Neural Therapy?

Neural Therapy works by regulating the autonomic nervous system (ANS) thereby affecting change through the entire body.

The ANS is part of our central nervous system that controls automatic functions within our bodies, including: breathing, digestion, metabolism, regulating body temperature, hormone production, circulation, immune function, and much more.

Neural Therapy may address these issues and many others:

  • Poor circulation
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Muscle spasms
  • Chronic neck or back pain
  • Trigger points
  • Nerve pain
  • Sleep issues
  • Anxiety
  • Symptoms of brain injury
  • Carpal tunnel
  • Vertigo
  • Digestion problems
  • Chronic sinusitis
  • Allergies
  • Asthma and other respiratory issues

What is a Neural Therapy?

Neural Therapy has been around since the early 1900s, and it has been growing in popularity since then.  It is a standard treat in healthcare in Europe and South America.

Neural Therapy is a gentle yet powerful treatment used to diagnose and address medical conditions that have been otherwise difficult or resistant to treatment. It is a comprehensive modality that brings about healing through the autonomic (or automatic) nervous system. This therapy is commonly used for the treatment of chronic pain.

What to expect during Neural Therapy

Neural Therapy involves injecting tiny amounts of procaine into specific sites on the body to correct interference fields.

Interference fields are a dysfunction of the autonomic nervous system caused by damaged tissue.

Most injections are in the skin, scars, muscles, trigger points, acupuncture points, ganglia, and other tissues. Procaine is safe, relatively free of side effects, and rapidly broken down and eliminated from the body.

When used correctly, this therapy offers a safe and effective tool for treating various acute injuries or illnesses and chronic conditions resistant to treatment.

I came to Dr. Nani with chronic severe mid-back pain that had been present for two years. X-rays and MRI were normal. I consulted several specialists and tried physical therapy, massage, and epidural injections for pain relief, but nothing worked. Several years before my mid-back pain started, I had a low-back surgery. During my first appointment, Dr. Nani injected the scar from the low-back surgery with Procaine. By that night, my mid back pain was gone and never returned again.
